D.U.T.C.H. Advanced women’s hormone test
WHAT IS THE DUTCH TEST?
The DUTCH Complete from Genova Diagnostics stands for Dried Urine Test for Comprehensive Hormones. It is the world leader in hormone panels. This state-of-the-art test identifies levels of stress hormones, sleep hormones and sex hormones the body is producing, and where improvements can be me made. This test is a comprehensive assessment of sex and adrenal hormones and their metabolites. It also includes the daily, free cortisol pattern, melatonin (6-OHMS), 8-OHdG, and organic acids. It provides details right down to which detoxification pathways your body favors, enabling us to pinpoint treatment and improve efficacy. The DUTCH Plus also includes the salivary cortisol awakening response (CAR), which is useful in assessing the stress response and level of adrenal depletion.
IS THE DUTCH TEST RIGHT FOR ME?
This is a great test for both menstruating and non-menstruating women (find out about the DUTCH for men here). It is commonly used to assess hormones in women with suspected PCOS, hormone imbalances and adrenal depletion. We can also use it preventatively to assess and improve breast cancer risk, and after menopause, it can be used to assess hormone levels and monitor menopause hormone therapy.
It can also identify the root cause of menstrual disorders and hormone imbalances listed below.
